Central Health Ltd was formed in 2009 having taken over provision of services formerly provided by Te Whatuiapiti Trust, a charitable trust established in 1994 as a deliverer of health, social and education services to the Central DHB area.

Central Health delivers services across many areas including Mental Health and Addiction, Mobile Nursing, Youth Programmes, Health Promotion, Youth and Whanau Counselling service, Home Support Services and our specialised Rangatahi (youth) Residential Addiction Service and our Adult Alcohol and Other Drug Supported Accommodation.

All our services are delivered in accordance with our recognised Tikanga Maori (holistic) values and family (whanau) inclusive practice.

Central Health is currently identifying further opportunities to broaden the range of services delivered both domestically and internationally.
